Interview With Suzy Grant
16 June, 2006

Suzy Grant hasn’t always lived in Marshall. When she was just four she moved from Dearborn, Michigan to Marshall. She is not positive why her family moved, but she thinks it was because of her dad’s job.
She explained to me that she is happy currently living in Marshall. She enjoys living here because it is where all of her friends are. Suzy explains that her family enjoys the small -town feeling of Marshall.
Mr. Grant is currently working at Blue Cross Blue Shield and he loves his job. He likes the feeling of helping the needy and he is devoted to caring for them. As for Suzy’s mom, she is currently a stay-at-home mom and she spoils Suzy, her younger brother Jeremiah, and older sister.
Suzy’s parents are inspiring people, but Suzy claims that Kay Fitzsimmons is her hero. Kay is good at sports and she is a great at academics. ”She’s a big inspiration!” exclaimed Suzy. “Kay is close to perfect,” Suzy told me.
Suzy plays sports and she dances. She says that it helps her with all of her “extra anger” and uses a lot of her extra energy. “It’s a relief when I play sports and when I dance,” Suzy explained. She enjoys meeting and making friends with new people.
She told me once about riding her bike and falling and busting open her chin. She explained that it hurt and she didn’t want to continue riding her bike, but she managed to get back on and try again. She still remembers what she did wrong and what not to do on a bike. Today she thinks of herself as a person who doesn’t quit. If she starts something then she must finish.
Suzy is a hard working person and is persistent at what she does. Everything that she has done in the past, and the people who still inspire her today, have made her the person that she is now.
