Alaska Is:
Alaska is what you make it. It becomes yours. Your reflection, your breath of fresh air, your get-away, it’s what you look forward to. Not to be taken for granted. It’s like Marshall’s melting pot. Where all of our cultures and habits collide. It helps us learn a lot about ourselves and each other. Filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. There’s a first time for everything. And each trip brings that exciting first time feeling.

Final Reflection:
From the first plane ride to the last hug time, sharing Alaska with 78 other people has been an unpredictable and unforgettable experience. Stories about summers always seem better when they’re stories about Alaska. At first it could seem a little crazy; you just don’t know how you will ever get to know all of these new faces. It never takes long—within at least two weeks I could tell you their name and something great about them. You get your first impressions before the trip, but then you get to watch some amazing growth and change happen on the course of three weeks. And not only them, but within yourself and your closest friends. Alaska can prove that you can do anything, and that’s the feeling I love that keeps me coming back.
