Alaska Is:
Alaska is a special place where any person, no matter what kind of family you come from, or who you hang out with, can come here and be themselves without the fear of someone thinking bad of them. Alaska is a place that makes everyone come together and act as a family, picking each other up when we’re down, and making new friends as we go throughout each day. When it all comes down to it, Alaska is a place that words can’t explain, and you can only understand by coming here.

Final Reflection:
The AGLP has changed my life in more ways than I expected. It has opened new doors of opportunity and has changed the way I look at the people around me. When I think of my time in Alaska I think of friendship circles being opened up, enemies turning to close friends and of course loads of new memories. Alaska is a place where we are all ourselves and everyone accepts each other for who they are. I feel like I have gained so much from this trip and overall I think I have made so many great friends here and I know we will all still act like a family when we all group together again. I will never forget my eighth grade Alaska Great Lakes Project 2006!
