Alaska Is:
Alaska is something you can’t describe in one sentence. There are too many things you can only see in Alaska to cram into a single thought. There are entire books written on the mountains, the forests, and the people. I don’t think you could get a good idea of what Alaska is from a book. You have to climb the mountains, explore the forests, and meet the people to truly know what Alaska is.

Final Reflection:
Before Alaska I didn’t want to try new things. I had my comfort zone. I didn’t like to be taken out of it. I hung out with the same friends and never really pushed myself at any physical or emotional challenges.
This all changed when I got to Alaska. I was way out of my comfort zone. I was with people I didn’t know very well and I was doing things I never thought I could do. I was climbing mountains, seeing whales, and just pushing myself more in general.
Everything worked out and I learned new things. I also make friends with people I had never talked to before on the trip. I was also trying new things and I had some great experiences. Alaska just seems to take all the dividers from school away. Everyone has one big thing in common: their experiencing things many people can only dream about.
