Alaska Is:
Alaska is blossoming land, fertile and with everything packed in.

Final Reflection:
There are many words to express how my experience in Alaska turned out to be. The only one that seems to fit everything would be “amazing.” Every day there was something new to see, learn, or explore, a room not yet opened.
On the trip through Denali, an eight-hour bus trip, no one seemed like they wanted to be there. We didn’t see anything early in so we got bored and wanted to sleep. Then, there was our first bear sighting. All at once, everyone piled to the left side of the bus to try and catch a glimpse. Needless to say, everyone was awake the rest of that trip, all of us competing to have the glory of spotting some sort of wildlife.
The only word to describe the whale watch would again be “amazing.” Seeing the whales was spectacular. I don’t think anyone will be able to forget the feeling of seeing a new whale. With the perfect backdrop of the mountains and the sea, I know I never will be able to.
And the best thing of the trip overall were the new relationships made, and old ones brought to a new level. People you would never think of talking to before, may now be your best friends. The only question is, did this trip change us enough to stay this way throughout high school? Will we all go back to our cliques? Or will we learn from this and put all of this behind us?
