Alaska Is:
Alaska is…B-E-A-U-tiful. Alaska gives you the most amazing feeling. Waking up to an amazing view everyday and seeing the same view all day everyday is wonderful. Alaska gives you the feeling as if you had just accomplished the biggest goal in your life. When you climb a mountain you feel like you’ve completed the largest and most important goal of your life, even if it isn’t a goal in your life. Alaska gives you the most unexplainable feeling you could have. Alaska is…B-E-A-U-tiful.

Final Reflection:
During this Alaska trip a lot changed, some bad, some good. I made some new friends, achieved new goals, and saw and experienced a new environment. Being in Alaska can be a struggle while living with the same people 24/7, but seeing the beautiful views every day makes you realize that it is totally worth it to be with the same people for almost an entire month. While being on this wonderful adventure I have achieved goals that I didn’t already have planned to achieve. I have climbed two mountains and gone many days without showering. I have become more depth in being independent, since I have had to get up and get myself ready as quickly as possible, make sure that I had cleaned up after myself, and I have had to make sure that I was fed. I have also become better at working as a team member and letting the little things go. Sometimes in life you come across people that are rude and don’t enjoy life as they should, in other words they do not practice the fish philosophy, but you just have to try to cheer that grumpy person up or don’t allow their grumpiness to ruin your day. While being in Alaska I learned that you choose your attitude, so if you wake up and say you’re going to have a bad day, then you’re going to have a bad day. I’ve also learned that you don’t absolutely need to shower every day and that it wont’ kill you to not wear makeup. This trip has taught me a lot of new things. Alaska has filled me with a lot of fun and entertaining memories.
