Alaska Is:
         Alaska is more than I thought it would be. When I first thought about what it would be I thought, “Snow, glaciers, and Eskimos!” But I was wrong. Alaska is the mountains that reach the sky and the wildflowers that grow on the ground. It is somewhat peaceful, but then is extremely loud and exciting. Alaska is the moose and bears that run wild and free. Alaska is more than I thought it would be.

Final Reflection:
        Alaska is probably the greatest thing that has happened to me so far. It is the greatest because I made new friends, learned new things and had fun doing them. I’m really going to miss the friendship that I shard with everybody, even the people I thought I had hated. I know that things will probably not be the same when we get to high school. I look back and I see that I have accomplished lots of things. I told myself that I have done more than some people think possible. I have climbed two mountains, ran in a five-mile race and managed to go on an eight hour bus tour without falling asleep. Surprisingly I was having fun and being wide awake the whole trip. I have learned that I can survive a couple days without a shower and to spend your money wisely, or you will end up broke before the end comes. As excited as I am about going home, I’m going to miss Alaska a lot. I will miss people yelling moose as we drive down the road. It is also going to feel weird not sleeping in a tent and that is my Alaska reflection.
