Alaska Is:

Alaska stands for
Lovely
A is for amazing
S is for no snoozing
K is for kool scenery
A is for all the fun we had

Alaska is more than just these few words. This beautiful state is full of new learning experiences. For example, climbing a mountain for the first time and playing in the water of a waterfall. The wildlife here is like no other. We get to see wild moose, bears, marmots, bald eagles and arctic squirrels. The shops in all the cities have wonderful things, from funny-looking moose hats to tiny jewelry. If I could, I would come back again—only if I can bring my family! So in the end, Alaska is a beautiful place in my heart.

Final Reflection:
This school year started off boring until I learned about an awesome teacher, Mr. Rosene. Mr. Rosene made my year because he accepted me into the AGLP group! I was so excited! We gathered in the middle school parking lot a week after school was out to get on some buses. From there we drove to Chicago. The plane ride to the magic land of Alaska!
As I look back on this trip I see good times and bad. But I remember climbing the glacier for the first time the most. I had a high blood sugar, so therefore I struggled on the mountain. Then I made it and that was my biggest moment on this trip!
