Alaska Is:
         Alaska is old friends and new faces. It’s about meeting new people and making new friendships. It’s about pushing yourself past your comfort zone and helping others do the same. For some, it’s about reconnecting with the world and God. Alaska’s mountains make a sanctuary more sacred than any church ever could. Alaska is overwhelming. Alaska is breathtaking. Alaska is anything and everything. Alaska is what you make it.

Final Reflection:
        Alaska has truly changed me. I feel like I’ve grown as a person and a leader. Being thrown into a situation where not only do I have to take care of myself, but I have to keep the participants safe as well, has taught me how to handle whatever situation life throws at me. Seeing the kids grow under our leadership gives such an amazing feeling. That sight is worth all of the effort.
