       a bag full of surprises, and the surprises are what makes it fun. Because without the surprises, it’s just a bag. And what fun is that?

Final Reflections

        Alaska. The Last Frontier. It’s three words, but to me, it’s so much more. It’s the anticipation of the plane ride. It’s the feeling of victory and awe standing on a mountain. It’s the warm, cozy atmosphere at Seward, Homer, and Palmer. The buzz of Fairbanks and Anchorage. The amazement of a whale jumping out of the water next to the boat. As I look back I realize this is one of the best things I have ever done and will ever do. I am thankful that I got to go on this trip and I look forward to coming again.
