       a place of vibrant colors—the brightest of greens, roses, lupine and rock flowers of every hue. Mountains beyond description and the brown face and black hair of an Eskimo child. What a palate of the “Last Frontier.”

Final Reflections

        Reflecting on this 2007 trip and others of the past, the awesome mountains and vast terrain set the stage for a roller coaster trip, of feelings and scenery. Glaciers, Kenai fisherman, Midnight Sun activities, Mt. McKinley on a clear day. Seaside Farms, animals in Denali—a moose by the roadside. Making all these scenes vivid and alive are the participants of the AGLP. These kids in bright colors and smiles show the world they’re growing, learning, and confident of their future—our future. Thanks Ishtar—it’s been a fantastic experience!
