Alaska Is...

       Alaska is the most beautiful place that I have every seen. The scenery seems to make the world more peaceful, like your problems don’t’ bother you any more. Alaska lets you leave behind the stress and pressure of everyday life.
       Alaska is probably the greatest opportunity in my life. I have gotten to learn, have fun, and grow. I have met some of the nicest people, and I love the sense of family that is in Alaska. Alaska is amazing!

Final Reflections

        Alaska isn’t at all what I thought it would be. Alaska turned out to be so much better than I imagined. I got to experience new things, I grew closer to my friends, and I met amazing new people. Alaska was the best way possible to start my summer.
        Alaska provided me with opportunities that aren’t available in Michigan. The scenery was awesome, and I hope that I will always remember it, I got to see mountains, wild animals, and the ocean.
        Also on this trip my social skills were improved. I got the chance to get to know my classmates more; even the ones I weren’t familiar with. I also got to grow closer to the friends I already had.
        Spending time in Alaska opened my eyes to the fact that Marshall is just one tiny corner of the world. I learned that there is so much that you can do with your time. Alaska gave me a new positive energy. I can always use the Fish Philosophy and make everybody’s day better.
        Alaska is an experience that will stay with me forever. I can constantly look back for the lessons that I learnt while here in this amazing place.
