Alaska Is...

       AMAZING! I never thought there was a place on earth this beautiful. NO matter where you are you have mountains touching the sky in every which direction. Sometimes I look out the window of our van and I feel like I’m in a dream or a National Geographic Movie. The mountains are so gorgeous that sometimes they look fake. I love traveling to all the different towns. It’s so cool how each town is unique. The anticipation of going to each town and seeing what it’s going to be like is thrilling. When I’m here everything seems so perfect. I mean, how many 14 year olds get to go to Alaska for three weeks with all of their friends? It’s awesome—we have so many adventures planned here. We never have time to say, “I’m bored.” I LOVE it here!

Final Reflections

        Alaska is amazing. I love it here. Every place we’ve gone just seems fake. If I had the choice to do everything all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. The scenery from near to far is absolutely gorgeous. The mountains seem like the top of the world when you are standing o them. When you’re climbing a mountain and reach the top with 80 other people knowing you helped every one of them up, you know right then that it’s all worth it. It’s then that you know that you definitely want to come back next year. When I get back home and people ask me “What was it like?” I know there won’t be words to describe it.
