Alaska Is...

       known for its beauty and that’s why most people come. I mean, that’s why I wanted to come. But I know now that there is a lot more to Alaska then its beauty; it is so open and free that you have time to think about what really matters to you. Alaska is also very mountainous with many challenges that show if you really want to work that hard to reach the top or if you’re just going to sit back and watch everyone else succeed and pass you by. That is what Alaska is to me so think of the things Alaska could show you!

Final Reflections

        When I came to Alaska I was just an average person, no different from any other. But now, leaving Alaska, I know I am not an average person but I am Emily Ann Peters. I am a fourteen year old girl that knows how to do laundry, to be organized when everything seems to fall out of place, to go four full days without a shower. I also know how to make friends you have never net before or someone you didn’t really know that well. Alaska has made me tons more responsible and respectful. it has also made me more appreciative of my family and my house. Alaska has shown me a world that was cloudy before and I am very thankful of that.
