Alaska Is...

       the unknown., a place people know of but have never felt.
       an experience that by normal means it is indescribable.
       the paradise of the north, a place where you find yourself when you didn’t know you needed to be found.

Final Reflections

        I have come to know many things in Alaska. I have come to know some of what we call nature, in its original form, pure and untouched. I have come to know the people I have been with who they are and what they do. I have come to know the pleasure of scaling a mountain, or the oddity of a land whose sun may never truly set.
        I have come to know myself.
