Final Reflections
Wow! 19 years of the AGLP are history. I am still learning from the experience every year and know (hope) that the participants, both old and young, are learning as well.
It was a special treat to have the “junior drivers” with us this year. They got to share their experiences with all of us and push us to keep going into the future. Equally special were the “regulars” who give continuity to the project, while keeping our feet on the ground. Thanks to all!
The new travelers and junior leaders this year all added to my memories of AGLP 2008. The excitement shared by all as we see Denali, or the first whale, or lift the first halibut aboard, or wake for our first full day in Alaska, all give the energy to make AGLP 2009 a reality. |
