Alaska Is...

       Alaska is huge
Huge mountains, huge animals,
Huge memories too.

Final Reflections

I had an amazing experience in Alaska.  I got to do things that I had never had an opportunity to do before, and saw things I may never get to see again.  I would definitely go back on the project if I get the opportunity.
I believe that my favorite place that we visited in Alaska was Homer.  It had one of the nicest campsites, despite the lack of running water, some of the most interesting shops, and a very nice view of the ocean.  I also enjoyed the whale-watching trip we took with Capitan Jack while we were there.
I think that the most meaningful experience I went through was climbing Mount Heely.  It was difficult and tiring, and I still have the blisters on the back of my feet, but it was an amazing feeling, and the view at the top was breath taking.  I wish that we had had the opportunity to climb the Exit Glacier trail as well, but unfortunately we weren’t able to.
I had the time of my life on the Alaska project, and I sincerely hope that I get to go again someday.
