Alaska Is...

Alaska is my family.  Alaska has given me a family of 80 four times now and has given me the opportunity to spend 3 weeks with each member of my family, which I will forever be grateful.  Alaska is the greatest family you could ever ask for.  It does not ask questions, it just loves you for who you are.

Final Reflections

As my days here in Alaska come to an end I look back on what an impact this trip has had on my life.
I have learned more about myself in the last three weeks than I have in the last year. Alaska has taught me how to be a leader, friend and listener. It has taught me to appreciate everything for what it truly is and not what it looks like.
Not only has Alaska changed me butt the people who have become my family have changed me. I have learned to be patient and to be under standing of those around me. I have learned to become a leader from the other leaders who have come before me.
So as the years fly by the future is uncertain, but I know for sure that if today is the last day I ever spend in Alaska my life will be for ever changed because of the time I have spent here in Alaska.
