Alaska Is...

Alaska is Alaska. While possible, it is difficult for words to describe it. It is huge, amazing, and awe-inspiring. It is wild; it's entirety incomprehensible to the human mind.
Those who come here never fully leave it. Those who pass up opportunities to come here regret it.
Alaska is an amazingly unique place. I would imagine that it is the only place in the world where an icefield borders a temperate rainforest. It is also the only place where you can find moose casually grazing along the roadside and caribou jogging in front of a us.
Alaska is unpredictable, even more so than Michigan. One minute you will have perfectly clear skies, and the next you'll be having a torrential downpour.

Never have to say "I should have"

Final Reflections

Alaska will always be with me. I have met a lot of amazing people, many of which I would not have normally met. I have also done a lot of things which I don't think I would have done otherwise. Because of the FISH Philosophy, I think I will come back to Michigan as a better person.
I love Alaska, and I hope to come back as much as possible. At one point during the trip, I even thought about coming up here to live after college.
