Alaska Is...
Alaska is the people who are overjoyed to see us after a year away. It is the mountain that is in constant motion, the animals that allow us to see them. It is the surprise of climbing Mount Healy and the excitement of the participants every morning. But most importantly, it is change. It is the change we are able to see in both others and ourselves. It is the participant who becomes more responsible. It is the beader who becomes a leader. It is the leader who truly learns how to lead. Alaska is a place where the details make a difference, where the landscape and the experiences are the catalysts for the change we all need to undergo.
