Alaska Is...

Alaska is plants, rocks, trees, fish, animals, and mountains. It is also the people, the places, and the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes. It is a place, it is all these things and more. It is greater than the sum of its parts. It's an attitude, a state of mind, and a state of being.

Final Reflections

If home is where the heart is, then I have found a home in Alaska. Everyone around me preparing to return to me, I feel like I am about to leave.

After three weeks with constant exposure to the same people by the end we’Äôre about at each others throats and then you realize they irritate and annoy you and when the trip is over you will never have missed any group of people more.
