Alaska Is...
Alaska is beauty you can't capture in pictures. It's a place you have to see. This being my third trip to Alaska, I believe I can honestly say that when you visit here, you make a connection with the land. You become a part of the culture and experience only found here. But, beyond the connections made, the learning experience is the true beauty of this land. Being an adult now, I have been able to experience and be a part of the growing and changing all of the kids go through. Its unbelievable to me how much growing I have done. Earlier this year, I was able to take a class called "Our place in nature" at Western Michigan University. For our final project, we had to make a video describing our place in nature. I chose Alaska and A.G.L.P. without this trip, I would not be the person I am today.
