Alaska Is...

An Eagle, gracefully soaring betwixt mountains.
A Otter, playfully diving into the depths of imagination.
A Halibut, determinedly fighting the line of urbanization.
A Bear, peacefully slumbering amidst the bustle of society.
A Musk Ox, willingly giving wool to whomever needs warmth.
A Mosquito, constantly buzzing at the back of the mind.
A Salmon, ritually changing with the seasons.
A wolf pack defiantly howling into the cold, dark sky at an ocean of stars.
A Moose, majestically striding through a forest of life and energy.
A Whale, breaching from the calm waters of the world and into existence.

Final Reflections

Moose, bear, musk ox, and wolf travel from land. Eagle and mosquito soar from the air. Whale, halibut, otter, and salmon swim from the sea. This band of disimilar fauna converges from various backgrounds of the same world in order to share the bands of travel, living, and coexistence in Alaska. Over the course of 25 days these creatures grow together as individuals and as a family.

By pushing each other, the animals assist the entire group in reaching personal as well as shared goals, leaving not even the smallest behind. This is the experience which I as a three-time-traveller with the AGLP shall cherish forever as I recall helping others grow as I have grown myself.
