Alaska Is...

Alaska is a magical place where I get the chance to spend 3 weeks with some amazing AGLP kids.

Alaska is the chance to meet, make new lasting friendships, and watch these kids grow.

Alaska is an opportunity for me to see the awe and wonder in the eyes of these kids as they do and experience thing for the first time whether it be flying in a plane, climbing their fist mountain, seeing a whale, or just taking in the beauty that surrounds them.

Yes, Alaska is a magical place I call home. I would like to come back again and someday not just call home, but be home.

Final Reflections

As my third trip with AGLP concludes I will say that each trip is different but some things stay the same. The kids are awesome, Alaska is still beautiful, the drivers are amazing, and new lasting friendships have been made. I will miss this place that I refer to as home and hope to return again some day Lord willing, and meet and make new friends with another AGLP group. I am thankful Mr. Rosene created this program and has allowed me this opportunity to participate in it. I also hope the Alaska Great Lakes Project continues forever, since this is an amazing opportunity for these kids to experience an adventure they will never forget.
